As the face of CoverGirl, and a frequent feature on magazine covers, Taylor Swift is pretty used to getting noticed.

Owing to her prominent position in the spotlight, the country star has developed a quintessential look, and always manages to look flawless.
Although the singer typically sticks to her go-to makeup - blacker than black eyeliner and redder than red lips - she has had some major beauty moments. So when Taylor dished to Refinery29 about her beauty regime and gave a sneak peek of her upcoming CoverGirl campaign, we were pretty curious what she would name as her favorite beauty looks.
Turns out one of Taylor's "coolest" beauty looks involves - wait for it - red lips and cat eyes - no surprise there then. But we were a little shocked that Ms. Swift has experimented with using permanent ink on her face: 'I once used a Sharpie as eyeliner in an airplane bathroom because I didn't have any with me. I don't recommend it.'
As for that time during her Vogue cover shoot when she let the hairstylist spontaneously cut her bangs on-set, T. Swift was pretty thrilled with the results, saying: "It turned out to be one of my favorite changes I've ever made to my hair. Moral of the story: Always trust Vogue."

Even though Taylor isn't the most adventurous in the beauty department, the fresh-faced 22-year-old definitely has a strong sense of who is she is and what she likes for such a young age.
