Singer and actress Selena Gomez has revealed how she found her role in her latest movie Spring Breakers a little difficult, as it was a role that she is not really used to. However, Selena admitted that she soon got into the role and is looking forward to the movie being released.
Gomez explained to Women’s Wear Daily, “It was a very different type of role for me. I play a religious girl named Faith. Her best friends aren’t the best influences, and they want to go to spring break but can’t afford it.”
She added, “So they rob a convenience store and get away with it and go on spring break. We end up getting busted by the cops and going to jail, and James Franco’s character, a rapper-drug dealer, bails us out.”
Selena then went on to discuss her new perfume, adding, “I knew I wanted a tall bottle because I feel like it can kind of stand up with all the other fragrances. Each [new scent in the future] will represent me as I am at that time. It’s kind of me winging it. I definitely like to wing things.”
The fragrance will be available in Macy’s stores across the US in May. Meanwhile, Spring Breakers is released in 2013.
