Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty has claimed he approves of a reconciliation between his daughter and ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown. 
Fenty has claimed that Chris Brown has "matured" since his 2009 assault on Rihanna, stating that he can understand why their fans see them as "the perfect couple."
Grazia magazine quotes him as saying: "Chris has matured a lot. I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her... I just wish her the best. I hope things will work out."
He added: "Everyone is entitled to make a mistake. Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple."

Brown recently reached out to Rihanna on Twitter after her beloved grandmother Dolly passed away over the weekend, with the Don't Wake Me Up singer writing: "Praying for family and the lost loved one. She was like my grandmother. Love you GRAN GRAN! RIP."
Earlier this year, Rihanna and Chris Brown seemed to put their turbulent relationship behind them after collaborating on two songs together, fuelling reunion rumours. However, we recently reported that the 'Umbrella' hit-maker was furious with him over his fight with rapper Drake. British newspaper The Sun reported that the incident took place in a New York nightclub, sparked by the pair's rivalry over pop singer Rihanna.
