She has yet to comment on the much talked about photographs she posted on her Twitter page last night showing her 'cutting up' a white powered substance on the top of a man's head at the Coachella music festival.
But last night Rihanna brushed off any controversy over the photo as she perfromed for famous faces including Steven Spielberg at a cancer benefit. The 24-year-old singer wore a cropped T-shirt and a high-waisted, slashed to the thigh navy blue skirt as she performed, with legendary film director Steven snapping shots of her singing on his camera.
Becoming friendly with Spielberg could be a wise career move for Rihanna, who revealed in a recent interview that she was keen to continue in the acting industry after her role in recent thriller Battleship.
Rihanna was seen posing with stars including Sheryl Crow at last night's "Unforgettable Evening" Benefiting EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. However, the singer has remained tight lipped on her Twitter page after the picture of the white powder sparked questions and concerns on the social networking site.
The image, which sees Rihanna - real name Robyn Fenty - on the shoulders of a mystery man, was accompanied by the caption 'Memories don't live like people do #coachella'.
Rihanna posted two pictures of herself on the shoulders of the man, with another close-up shot of the substance on his head. Fans posted over 1000 comments on the photographs. One fan questioned: 'Is that weed or coke?', while others praised her for being so open, saying: 'Priceless I love this girl'.
Famous for speaking her mind, Rihanna posted on her Twitter account soon after: 'I'm crazy and I don't pretend to be anything else.'
