It seems that everybody in the music industry is looking to collaborate with someone at the moment and the person that most people want to collaborate with appears to be Beyoncé. Earlier this week, Adele admitted that she would love to do a track with Beyoncé and now Nicki Minaj has also claimed that she would love to work with the former Destiny’s Child singer.
Minaj explained, "My fans want a Beyoncé collab. That's the only one." Nicki then went on to admit that the regular fall outs that she seems to have with other artists do not really bother her, as she is fully focussed on her career and looks up to Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z.
She added, "These little spats and these little issues, I rise to the occasion every time," she added. "A lot of girls want it, but they haven't been tested so much along the way.
Nicki continued, "A rap battle, I could do that in my sleep now. I'm trying to get paper. I watch what Jay-Z did and I feel like if he could do it, I could do it. Just 'cause I'm a girl, doesn't make me any different."
Nicki Minaj is currently set to claim her first ever UK number one album this weekend, with her latest record Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
