Singer Madonna has discussed how she has coped with being a single mother and bringing up her children almost single handed. Madonna admitted that it has not been easy but she has done her best and she is proud of the people her children are becoming.
Madonna explained, “I'm not going to lie, it's hard work having four kids and doing all the work I do. [I feel like my] head is going to explode. Everybody has something to say about the way I live my life. At the end of the day I'm doing my best. If people don't like it, then that's really their problem.”

She added, “Sometimes I cope with it very well, sometimes it's a struggle." Madonna then went on to reveal that the lyrics for her song I Don't Give A were a retaliation to all of her critics who have questioned her parenting ability.”
Madonna continued, “It's about the life of a single mother. It's a challenge juggling everything - multi-tasking is my middle name. I try to express that.” In the song, Madonna also has a pop at her ex husband Guy Ritchie with lyrics about their custody battle and a pre nup.
