Spider-Man actress Kirsten Dunst has revealed how her parents did a very good job with her upbringing to make sure that she did not get carried away by achieving fame at such a young age. Kirsten admits that she was quite the extrovert but that her parents made sure that her extrovert personality did not lead to her becoming a prima donna.
Dunst explained, "My parents did a really good job with me. I was a very extrovert kid and it felt normal to me to act. I've never been a prima donna so I never had problems. I always went to regular schools - I always had my seat at the cafeteria when I came back from acting and I never felt like an alien in my life because of what I did."
She added, "My mum wasn't my manager but she was always with me on set. She would bring the pasta machine and make homemade pasta wherever we went. My mum was way more laid back than my dad, so I had a good balance." Kirsten Dunst can be seen on the big screen alongside Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund and Tom Sturridge, in the movie On the Road, which is released later this year.
